This is a very rough original WWII Japanese Army type 98 tropical sun pith helmet, the interior structure of which has been entirely crushed. Its form is gone and it is very loose. It retains the original pentagonal bevo style cloth embroidered army star insignia to the front, although it is very tattered. Despite this, the helmet retains the original suspension system and original chinstrap. This could still likely
