This bottling comes from the Savigny side Hauts Marconnets, perched high on the south facing slope on marl and limestone, which Chanson chose to plant to Chardonnay rather than Pinot. The result is a white Burgundy of unusual cut and minerality for the appellation: peach and apricot fruit, a saline mineral
