This is a rather scarce helmet, one of a very small lot of Italian M 33 Helmets which were purchased by Argentina from Italy in the 1930s. They were used up into the late 1940s, when they were subsequently replaced with German style Stahlhelms. If one is fortunate enough to locate an Argentinean M 33, they generally are repainted and feature the Argentinean Roundel painted on the sides of the helmet. What is special
