This is an extremely scarce bayonet produced for the Finnish Army and Civil Guard. According to Kiesling, the Civil Guard ordered 10,000 bayonets in 1941, most were scrapped in the 1970's. This example comes with its SK. Y marked green leather scabbard of riveted and sewn construction. The blade is clean, showing typical service use with a few very shallow nicks in the edge towards the base. The ricasso is stamped
