one stays with the body and the other goes to the person in charge of the burial for record keeping purposes

as the real thing isn't excessively large

Upon rejection, these helmets had a hole punched in the skirt and a red stripe approximately 1 inch in width was painted across the helmet. The paint is somewhat worn, and definitely shows use,
