This is a very good example of the Swiss Model 1943 Officer's Dagger, complete with the original scabbard and intact belt hanger clip. As with other examples we have seen, it is marked on the blade ricasso with maker Elsener Schwyz Victoria, but there is no serial number on the other side. Karl Elsener was a Swiss cutler, inventor and entrepreneur. Karl Elsener completed an apprenticeship as a knife maker in Zug.
