The rotating Star now had eight arms and the construction was massive and without any of the old school craftsmanship

which will have some damage

However it dates from just after the war

The Royal Warwickshire Regiment was raised by William III in 1674 and arrived in England with the Prince of Orange in 1688, where they were known as "The Dutch Guards". It became the 6th regiment of foot and by 1782 was also being referred to as the first Warwickshire regiment. The regiment occupied New York in 1776; saw service with Wellington during the Peninsula Wars, 1809 1813, and during the 19th century
