This is a very nice example of a 10 pounder (2. 9 inch caliber) Federal Parrott projectile. The projectile is fully inert and empty, though it still has part of the zinc fuze assembly in the nose. It also still has the original brass sabot attached to the bottom, which are often lost. This design features case shot material, and a brass sabot that is cast onto the exterior of the iron shell, with some "teeth" that
