These Original Tulwar battle swords fell into this category and as a result some enterprising Indian exporter had all the swords enthusiastically cleaned and each fitted with a new black canvas covered wood scabbard declaring them all as modern replicas

The company produced over a million Mk4 oilers during WW1. Output was inspected by a branch of the inspection office at the Birmingham Small Arms plant, thus the inspection mark includes the italic B. The manufacturers symbol, H. J&S,is stamped on the base of the oiler, along with the Ordnance broad arrow.
