This is a very nice Imperial German WWI era dress sword from the Kingdom of Saxony, which was one of the members states of the German empire. Offered in good condition, it features a shape fold away guard with the Coat of Arms of the Kingdom of Saxony on it. The grip is brass wire bound over sharkskin, most likely with wood underneath. The grip is in very good condition, and the hilt is tight to the tang. This model
