This is a very rare U. S. Army Air Forces Type B 4 Parachute First Aid Kit, which is contained in a round plastic container about 5 inches wide by 1 inch tall. The kit was designed to fit in the parachute survival frying pan, which was made of metal and just bit enough to fit the first aid kit. This protected the kit, and also helped keep the used space to a bare minimum when bailing out. This is the first example of
