This is a unique and lovely Vietnam War era pith helmet. The helmet is mostly made of heavy paper cardboard with an open woven burlap dome. We couldn't find any markings to provide insight into its origins, but we believe it is a late war "last ditch" style made using alternative resources. While this is not the standard issue pith helmet worn by the North Vietnamese Army (or Vietcong), it is still an exceptional
