this is an original British bright red Melton cloth evening jacket with correct black waistcoat (vest) together with the original navy blue tapered coveralls (pants) with broad red stripe down each trouser leg denoting being from a ROYAL REGIMENT

These were known as Kaskaras and were carried along with a large shield
