Madvillain - Madvillainy (CD) Format:CD an exploration of Black musicMadvillainy, the 2004 collaboration between MF DOOM and producer Madlib, is an audacious masterclass in underground hip hop. Hailing from London and Oxnard, California, respectively, DOOM and Madlib concoct a dense, off kilter world that feels like a stoned fever dream. Appropriately, many of the beats were developed in a former bomb shelter. DOOM's cryptic, jagged rhymesdelivered through his signature metal maskbounce off Madlib's lo fi, sample heavy
